A Beautiful Wish

I hope and I wish,
and sometimes wishes come true,
for everything that's precious in life
to rain in torrents on you.

Sweet, pleasant fragrance of Spring,
genesis of life anew,
born in the hearts of all God's people
sparkles like the honey dew.

The deer drinks from a babbling brook,
bluebonnets wave from a thousand hills,
may all the beauty God gave creation
sing from your heart in thrills.

Your quiver is full, your children are near,
the memories of life most dear;
may all be peace and joy in your heart
and bring visions of Heaven here.

This was written to my mom
as a Mother's Day wish.
