Skating

The snow was falling so soft and gently in the town square
The warm sound of childrens laughter softly filled the air
They enjoyed a day of skating as the younger children rode their sleigh
There was no room for any more children to ride so they took turns pulling the sleigh along

In the middle of the town square skating rink they built a snowman in the snow
Putting up a Christmas tree with lights that did so beautifully glow

They all looked in such awe to watch the lights twinkle so beautiful

In the town square they went in the candy store that had a cozy fire as they enjoyed telling stories and enjoying a hot chocolate and some gingerbread cookies
The true meaning of Christmas and the birth of Jesus filled the air
As they looked out the window to see the beautifully falling snow
Their was such beauty upon this beautiful snowy night
