'Lady In Red'

'Neath the glow
of street lights
he came to greet
'the lady in red'...

She watched
as he arrived
so handsome
and charming
checking his watch
to insure perfect

From the shadows
she stepped
into his sight
a vision of beauty
a wonderous

Silently she giggled
he would be
the perfect prey
to satisfy her taste
complete her day...

His gentleness
caught her attention
making every effort
to bring her joy
as if playing with
a new toy...

When at last
they came to part
he clasp her hand
stole her heart...

With a kiss
he quickly fled
as a bird in flight
gone into
the darkness
of night...

Patiently she awaits
his return
as her heart
passionately yearns...
