This is great,
it's simply splendid,
it's a giant step,
it's a goal achieved,
it's a milestone,
it's a coming of age.
I'm so filled with pride over you
I could burst at the seams. It's
been a long, hard road from the dirty
diapers to the scholastic diploma.
But you made it! And you did a fine
job. There have been many happy times
along the way, many good things happened,
many high and lofty things accomplished.
There have also been those negative things
that make one's heart cry out with
anguish. But you weathered every storm
and came out smiling. I wish you many more
successes in life. Go forward, reach high,
don't let anything hold you back. I love
you with all my heart and I'm proud that
you're my daughter.
