A Tribute to Kim Mallette
“I love you guys,” are his final words
at the end of each Sunday’s class.
A big old teddy bear, full of love and humor,
he makes each Sunday School lesson a blast.
He holds the Word of God in his heart as well as his hands.
He encourages each one in the Lord.
Knowing full well Satan’s on the prowl,
he tries to equip each of us with a sword.
He is often seen in his fishing boots
without a rod or a net in his hands.
For the Lord, he has become a fisher of men,
baptizing them, into Salvation’s plan.
Who do you know besides Kim Mallette
whose hands have been baptized numerous times?
Do you trust him to lead you in the way of the Lord?
Would you lay your heart on the line?
To you, Kim Mallette, we offer this tribute.
You’ll be honored when God gets His way.
But until that day when we meet in the Heavens,
let these words be your hard-earned pay.
