Christmas' That Use To Be....

Once upon a time,
a time so far behind,
when family and friends,
gathered around the Christmas tree,
with holiday cheer.

But these days I have the HOLIDAY BLUES.
Not too many left to gather around,
the Christmas tree this year,
not a lot of cheer.

Only thing that gathers to me,
is Christmas' that use to be,
now my heart is shackled,
to memories of Christmas',
that use to be; and of yesterday.

Perhaps I'll get drunk this year,
maybe those HOLIDAY BLUES,
will disappear,
God only knows how I feel this time of year,
I pray it goes fast,
then maybe I won't no it was even here.

To everybody else I say,
Merry Christmas,
Happy birthday Jesus too...
