Her Beauty Seen

What had been observed
I wonder what was heard,
in a looking glass her face
such beauty, oh such grace.

A wish of hope she gave
her eyes she close to save,
dreams she’d always known
for a second here were shown.

Then as she walked away
for a moment one delay,
her wish she prayed would be
yet she could only wait to see.

To another day then dreaming
of romance, rainbows gleaming,
she vanished out my sight
but her beauty such delight.
