Vicarious Voices
Hilarious and intriguing are the voices I hear
with this malfunction of my ears.
Hi-pitched voices sound like
The Chipmunks, and low voices
sound hair-lipped and nasal.
Both are distorted and garbled as if
they were being channeled through
a static filled radio. They both have
that silly “Elmer Fudd Pucker” style.
