Unseen Time

Photobucket

Of the many days that come and go
And leave us with the wondering
Of where does all this time go?
This relentless and endless flow

Of these days that visit and leave
Like the leaves of a tree
Like the stars in the night sky
Also passengers in this life

Where does all the time go?
I ask the blue bird in the tree
The bird does not see the time
The blue bird mind is sublime

For the blue bird sees outside time
It does not see with a limited mind
It sees deeply beyond and below
And knows its place in the world

The blue bird swims and flows
In its own reasoning and rhyme
It does not question the reasons why
It is forever free to dream and fly

Of divine nature it forever breathes
Of divine nature it forever believes
The spirit of the blue bird is alive
And exists and lives in unseen time.
