The First Kiss
My neck almost broke
I thought I would choke.
You were up in the tree
hanging there trying to kiss me.
I had longed for THE KISS
but surely not like this.
Why couldn't you do it right
and give me a hug so tight?
I swallowed saliva and air
while you remained there.
Not very romantic I must say
was our first kiss that day.
You however did improve
once you got into the grove.
THE KISS won my heart
we have never been apart.
