MY CHRISTMAS LETTER TO SANTA

Dear Santa, it has been a while
Since I have written just to you
I was pondering on it this morning
'N thinkin' this is what I should do

Now I don't have a normal list
For what I need - I really have now
I'm asking for those needing things
Who are suffering - whole families now

There are those who are homeless
Others with homes they can't afford
Some who barely can get by
Prayers go up to Father-All, our Lord

I know what a giving Spirit
That you possess in your soul
I remember as a little child
And now I have grown old

You always made me happy
With a doll and buggy too
Little outfits (Mama made)
Of course they were from you

A little suitcase for the clothes
And I think that was my treasure
Somehow each Christmas I always thought
I think this brings Santa pleasure

Then I had my children's Christmas's
And it was then I truly knew
Just how happy you are delivering
Little things wanted from you

I'll put the hot chocolate out
And some cookies for you too
Now if you can see about those folks
I know that God will really bless you.

Praying for peace on earth ..... Amen
