Get Rid Of The Advertisements

then till now

I can remember each thrilling moment
From then till now.
But this isn't one of them

I can recall every time I made you smile
From then till now
This one doesn't count

It's easy to visualize all the laughs we had
From then till now
Nothing is funny at the moment
Every tear you've ever dropped
Every time you've made a frown
I can count each and every one of them
From then till now,
This tear, this frown
Far worse than I can recall

Its been 5 years and 3 months
From then till now
But this is the longest day of my life

You made some crazy decisions
From then till now
But this one cuts through me like a knife

I've missed you every day
From then till now
But on this day I can't wait to escape you
As my heart betrays you and my words evade you
My tears are forced to hold until we part
My wounds intensified within my heart
Knowing that this will be the final act of love
A short smile in remembrance of every hug
From then till now.

And as you drive away painfully
One teardrop says to the other, 'wait for me'
It's too difficult just to finish this,
Thinking of the worse memory on this list
From then till now.
It's now.
