Yes….opposites do attract when you are ~full of love!~
You were strong, outspoken.
I was quiet and shy.
But when our eyes met, or when we touched,
sparks would fly!

Waiting for you to notice me was agony.
But somehow I knew it would happen.
Too young…yet never doubting the wisdom
of my decision to marry you.

Against his wishes,
I went from my father’s house to your arms,
where I knew I belonged.
~Full of love!~
It was not a mistake!

Our love has mellowed from a
spontaneous combustion kind of love
that would grow through the years into a love
like the warmth and comfort
of being curled up under a soft afghan
in a cozy chair by the fireside!

When you look at me with those
brown eyes full of love,
