FAR BEYOND THE SKIES.
They say ''The skies the limit.''
I tell you there is more than a gambit.
In chess, a gambit is an opening
which is a sacrifice of one piece is made
in order to get advantage in position.
In the world, the sky is the limit.
To eternal life, Jesus is more than a gambit.
He is much more than a gambling chance.
In God`s Word, we have a glance.
''For what is a man profited,
if he shall gain the whole world,
and lose his own soul...''
( Matthew 16:26 )
''And I saw a new heaven and a new earth:
for the first heaven and the first earth
were passed away: and
there was no more sea.''
( Revelation 21:1 )
My faith and hope takes me far beyond
the skies and heavens of this earth.
My faith and hope reaches this
new heaven and new earth.
