IN THE STILLNESS
I'm looking into the Heavens
Knowing that God waits there you see
And in my heart I'm thinking
Please, sweet music play for me
and the music plays......
Somehow I know He hears me
And He knows my favorite song
He knows just where I am going
And I know where I belong
and the music plays......
I can feel His arms surround me
As He comforts me each day
I can feel the angels around me
When I bow my head and pray
and the music plays......
So many times I've asked Him
Please hold me in the hollow of your hands
Now please God will you turn them over
Covering me ~ I know you always understand
and the music plays......
For sometimes when we feel weak
And we're hurting deep inside
Just to know You have us covered
Is a constant source of pride
and the music plays......
As I'm sleeping Lord I pray to you
Please keep angels by my side
Let me hear sweet music play for me
As I flow with incoming tide
and the music plays......
As I wander through the meadows
Or I climb the highest mounts
Just to know You've got me covered
Is really all that truly counts
and the music plays......
Bless all those who are reading now
Lord, please hear each and every plea
Could we only see the peace on earth
Wish it could begin with me
and the music plays......
Thank you for your little whispers
I try hard to listen still
All the while sweet music plays for me
And I know all is Your will
in the still of the night ~
