Only Whispers'

The oceans waves tinted green,
dancing at my feet.
Summer morphs into fall,
the ocean echoed into my ears,
listening closer to the oceans echo,
only whispers did I hear.

A pretty pink shell I found,
I put it to my ear,
summer morphs into fall,
it echoed into my listening ear,
listening closer to the shells' echo,
only whispers did I hear.

Walking past a pretty green tree,
with blossoms hanging from its boroughs,
summer morphs into fall,
the leaves seem to say,
as I listened closer to the tree,
echo, only whispers did I hear.

As I listened to a song,
summer morphs into fall,
were the words to a song,
as I listened closer to the song,
echo, only whispers did I hear...
