Words Left Unspoken

Words Left Unspoken

They say you should tell her,
The way that you feel.
They say you should let her know,
What is there in your heart.

So maybe I am only a fool,
With his heart that is broken.
I let you leave,
With words left unspoken.

I know it's probably too late,
To let you know now.
For now we are separated,
By so many miles.

But from my heart to your heart,
Consider it a token,
Of how I feel about you,
In these words left unspoken.

I have loved you from the beginning,
From the moment we first met.
I remember your smile,
And I could never forget.

When you left that one night,
From that dream I was awoken,
Because of those words,
The ones I left unspoken.
