Sweet Spring

Oh, how I long to feel once again,
Sweet spring's warmth and gentle rain.
To breathe the soft warm spring breeze,
And see the budding of the trees.

My heart longs for lilacs in full bloom.
To fill up vases for every room.
To feel warm raindrops splash my face,
And plant new seeds in my garden space.

Oh, how I long for spring once more.
For songbirds singing at my door.
To enjoy with you, Dear, once again
Sweet spring's warmth and gentle rain.
