The She Swan

Ripples guide her passage
when she glides on by
in God’s garden of sunshine.
Queen of spring waters,
Cleopatra of the lake.
Her slender neck
most beautiful
is her crown of Royalty,
well known.
The prestige of her Highness
need not be shouted forth.
