If

Photobucket

If tomorrow never comes
My life on earth
Is finished
My race has been run

Photobucket

I’d like to make one last request
Before my death
Let me linger by the way
Just a few precious days,
Grant me just a little while
Before I go that final mile

Photobucket

Lord,
A Little favor
I’d like to ask of you
If my time on Earth,
Is through,
Simple matters,
Of mind and heart
Let me take care of them before,
My heavenly journey starts

Photobucket

Let me feel,
The warmth of sunshine
upon my back,
Just one more time,
let me gaze at the black velvet sky
as shooting stars flash quickly by
Before I journey
To the sky

Photobucket

Let my eyes clearly see
loved ones gathered,
Round me,
give me one last breath,
To say goodbyes,
give me courage,
And strength,
To bear their cries

Photobucket

Please,
let me hug my Daughter
And see her beautiful face
One more time,
before my soul,
to Heaven ascends
And say I love her,
just once more
before you close,
my lifetime door

Photobucket

Please
Let me hold my Husband,
In a last embrace
and kiss the sorrow,
From his face,
give him the strength,
To carry on
and ease his grief,
When I am gone

Photobucket

Lord in Heaven
I pray
With my friends
Give me
One more day

Photobucket

So that I,
can let them know
Just how much
I love them so
And how they’ve blessed
My life
As down the road
Of life
They walked
By my side

Photobucket

Lord in Heaven,
I pray
please grace me,
With a few more days
then I'll be ready,
to skyward fly
to my eternal home,
in the sky

Photobucket

I will be ready
To say
Goodbye
To those I’ve loved in life
And will continue
To love
On the other side
