You Never Looked Back

I screamed your name
I begged you not to go

You said it don't matter
That its all the same
Just drop it, let it go

How do you do that?
How do you just stop love?

You showed me I was nothing to you but a door mat
And love, you laughed at that

As you walked out the door you never looked back
My heart was crushed at your brutal and cold attack

You never looked back as I screamed you name
Now, alone, locked up, your denial of my love drove me insane
You never looked back, as I called your name.
