Lifes little joys
At times we have to find our own serenity and peace of mind within
As we journey high above through the clouds in the skies
Sometimes taking time out to ourselves to find some of lifes joys
Maybe doing something just for kicks that maybe brings out the child in us
For sometimes these are some of lifes small and little joys along the way
Being able to just have fun and allow yourself to be a kid for awhile
For you see my friend life moves so quickly along the way
Sometimes the tides seem turbulent and rocky upon the water
When we slow down even for a few moments we often can see and enjoy littles little and beautiful things
No matter how small or big that the things may seem to others
It is what you think or feel my kind friend that matters the most
Take time to dream, take time to close your eyes and unwind for a moment or two
For life is to short to take things so serious all of the time
The sun will always rise and set each day
Slow down and just for kicks do something nice for yourself today
Life passes by so quickly each day to be serious about things all the time
Slow down even for today and find lifes simple and little joys
Just for kicks do something that gives you happiness and joy even if it is for a few moments or awhile
Slow down today and you will see that there are so many beautiful simple and little things in life when we take time to see
Don't be afraid to spread your wings and soar high above
Enjoying lifes small and precious beautiful gifts of the heart
