My Music Box

SultryRose's Signatures

There is a tiny little dancer
Inside my music box
And every time I lift the lid
My little dancer rocks

Her arms are raised above her head
Her dress is pretty blue
There on her feet are dancing shoes
So she can dance for you

Now when the box is open
My dancer twirls around
And she will keep on dancing
Until the lid comes down

I love my tiny dancer
Love the way the music plays
So if my mom would let me
I'd play with her all day

Right now I get to see her
Before I say my prayers
So I put on my pajamas
And just hurry up those stairs

I run right up and lift the lid
The music starts to play
Then my little dancer dances
To end my perfect day

I want to thank my daddy
For giving her to me
One of my greatest treasures
When I'm grown up she'll be.
