My Kind of Determination

...In The Father's Hands...

There are Two ways to Live your Life

To Live, as though Miracles do happen
or

To Live, as though Miracles don't

SultryRose's Signatures

Some heros do not save lives !

Nor do they die on battlefields
In the midst of some raging fight
Still they have my admiration
For continuing their fight

Some heros do not play sports !

On the field of manly endeavors
They may not do so well
Still I see what they're doing
So it makes this old heart swell

Some heros do not give speeches!

They do not stand on platforms
Or orate srong and loud
But the way that they are living
Makes me want to cheer out loud

These heros should give lessons !

Yes, they surely can give lessons
To the likes of you and me
Bout living for the minute
Until eternity

These heros are so different !

BECAUSE

My heros are the children
Who are sick , have something wrong
Who with guts and smiling faces
Still manage to live on

They never rale against nature
Or think to bemoan their fate
They live to enjoy small things they have
Before it becomes to late

They just take each day as it happens
Find pleasure amid the pains
Then each morning they start all over
To do it once again

Oh , how they do inspire me
With examples of what they can do
This old world could learn some great lessons
For these tiny heros so true

I thank God for these kids

Because,

The fierce determination they display
Could teach old dogs like us a few tricks

Miracles do happen!
