Who Once Had Love

What do they know who have forgot,
who once had love but now have not?
They say our love could not be true
and we're too young to vow, 'I do.'

But this I know, my precious love,
our union is gifted from God above.
We're old enough to understand
and wise enough to take command.

For you I have such deep respect;
you are totally honest and speak direct.
My hand in yours, we walk together,
committed and loving, until forever.

What do they know, who have forgot,
who once had love but now have not?
