Get Rid Of The Advertisements

In A Moment

Artwork by Eva courtesy of artmam.com

In a moment of clarity
you saw into the depths of my being
(just a little differently than anyone
had ever been granted permission to do.)
instantly you slew the dragon
who breathed fire within my walls
and replaced him with a vivid fresco
of light and love.

In that one moment
the enfolding comfort of your arms
and the warmth of your loving gaze
were all I knew or needed to know
and the sun sang “good morning”
as never before.
