Strawberry Shortcake
Those delectable morsels
Set my heart on fire.
Strawberry shortcake
Is my one desire.
It goes hand in hand
With beautiful springtime.
That scrumptious treat.
I want for mine.
I see them in my dream.
Dream of them, when I'm awake.
Berries, heaped with cream.
STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE.
Pass me a fork, for goodness sake!
