GAMBLERS LESSON

When you make a bet be sure you will win
To lose could leave you with a struggle, stressed
Now I lost my bet, much to my chagrin
To write iambic has put me to test.
A cat who counts and rhymes is in a mess
Is going bald from the frustration used
My confidence was high now is much less
I am sure you all have big grins, amused
A bald cat writing metered lines, so bruised
A frazzled brain exhausting lesson learned
There is no sure things, asked to bet refuse.
So with thanks is just a poem with smarts earned

The moral of this fun tale is just this
don't bet or your hair will be sorely missed
