Dennis The Menace

Dennis the Menace
Had nothing on my little guy.
My little Teddy,
The apple of my eye.

His sly bashful grin
Played a big part.
From the moment I saw him,
He tugged at my heart.

Like Dennis, his adventures
Drew much attention.
His school-skipping episodes,
Well, better not to mention.

But, when it came time
To tuck him in bed
No pillow ever cushioned
A sweeter head.

Now he's all grown up.
I couldn't be more proud.
He's a man of integrity,
And not nearly as loud.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I wonder what Dennis
Is up to these days.
I wonder if Mr. Wilson
Is still around.
Poor Mr. Wilson
Had his hands full.
Oh, dear, I wonder if
Good old Mr. Wilson
Is still gagged and bound???
