One Step Away
I'm one step away from the alter
It seems like it's miles away
I need God's forgiveness and mercy
I feel I must kneel down and pray
I know I'm not worthy to ask you
Lord,please take my burdens and pain
Forgive all my sins and transgressions
Salvation,I need to obtain
Your word says you'll never forsake me
So please Lord, I must know your will
Please save me and show me your love Lord
In you Lord, my life is fulfilled
I'm one step away from damnation
So please Lord my heart cries to you
Salvation instead of temptation
Is something that I must accrue
My friend, the day soon is approaching
You too must decide your life's fate
Today is the day for redemption
Tomorrow is one day too late
Eternity's doors are wide open
Your next breath could be your farewell
Will you live your life in God's heaven
or with Satin tormented in Hell?
