Standing Alone At The End Of The Road

The end of the road
Is lonely
When your there all alone
Without anyone to hold your hand
or understand. Or to let you know or feel loved

To look in your eyes
Saying that final good bye

The end of the road
gathers your cold heart in its grip
Takes you on a lonely trip

Alone where you've remained
Without anyone in your life
Only you
What a shame

The end of the road
Caught you off guard
Once tried to warned you of your lonely life,
and your cold ~cold heart

Your road drawls near within your lonely life
You, refuse to love
Anything
Anyone
Not even yourself

Now your all alone at
the end of the road

I hear the cry of your final say
of a message to be relayed,
to all you say
Open your heart
Let someone in
Before you face life alone
as I did
towards the end.

Regrets I had
came too late
You have time
don't wait
Let someone in
Open your heart to love
once again.
