Get Rid Of The Advertisements

Another Day Passes

and the gunfire rattles on
rat tat tat tat tat
god i wish i were home
i miss my kids
i know they've grown
do they think of me?
their mother couldn't wait anymore
can't really blame her
no arms to hold her tight
i just wish this war would end
we're all prisoners
chained to this desert sand
i've seen more then i care to
the smell of death remains
i stay awake so i won't dream
i hold on to my faith
it's all that keeps me sane
and i pray
even though i know
this war isn't going away
