I STILL LOOK FOR HER TODAY

RED BALLERINA Pictures, Images and Photos

I knew that this must be a dream, it had to be
As I watched out my window, the night was calm
There was a beauty of a girl below ne'er seen before
I watched as she was like unto a dancing firestorm

She was a beauty as I saw her spin and spin again
Fire coming out in spurts that looked like flowers
The most incredible sight I had ever seen
I just sat there mesmerized for many hours

I thought perhaps the dance would change
From such high intensity, I saw no way
That she could not loose step, loose strength
But there was none around to have a say

She was delightful in her twirls and spins
The light would flash a while, then glow
It was a sight no one else would believe
Nor would I had I not seen it so.

Her hair glistened alive with fire embers flowing
Twas hard to figure out her eyes, but think were green
Almost fairy-like in her stature as the dance slowed
Her face was alive with radiance like I'd not seen

I looked away for a moment and she was gone
I tried my best to find her - even the next day
But this beautiful dancing firestorm was not to be seen
Even though it's been years, I still look for her today.
