That Old Oak Tree

When you look at that old oak tree,
Tell me dear, what do you see?
Twisted branches and leafy debris?
I see fine dressers with beveled drawers,
Highly polished French armoires,
Benches,hutches,chairs and more.
You see bird's nests teetering out on the edge.
I see tabletops begging for pledge.
Take a closer look at that old oak tree.
See the children swinging merrily?
I see the beauty of shelves to adorn.
A squirrel sees his winter's supply of acorns.
Come, help carve our initials with me.
Don't you see the beauty in that old oak tree?
