Your Footsteps

I stumble-reaching the Cross-Roads
Somewhere between there and here
Waiting for His Holy whispers
To flow within my ear

Every roads a Cross-road
It’s your path to reconcile
He’s waiting for your footsteps
And you know it’s been awhile

You saw Him in your early days
Amidst the moon and sun
Back when trees and mountains
For you had just begun

Every flower held His name
Each rock His mighty power
Back when every second
Seemed more than just an hour

The grass was so much greener then
The ocean clear and blue
Some how it all was muddled
And He became lost to you

A Cross road He has traveled
He died for Heavens sake
Now He waits so patiently
For His children to awake

My humble heart is open now
Each beat He counts anew
He waits for me to follow Him
And bring a friend like you
