Life Canvas

Paint brush dancing on blank canvas
Canvas awaiting the story to be told
Told by the colors, the hues, the tones
Tones that set the moods and feelings
Feelings experienced with every stroke
Stroke by stroke forming lasting images
Images meant to last an entire lifetime
Lifetime full of memories vivid paintings
Paintings too often shadowed by what if
If I could paint it different would I try?
Try to brighten the darkness with ne light
Light that appeared long after the trial
Trial that taught me many lessons of life
Life full of ups and down highs and lows
Lows a part of the entire process of living
Living to the fullest my major masterpiece
Masterpiece, one of a kind, mine forever
Forever these colors upon this my canvas
Canvas meant to display my life as I paint
