MIGHTY RIVER OF DREAMS
When I am feeling old and lonely
For years I've known where to go
Somehow I manage to get there
Where the water flows
It need not be a mountin
Nor a little flowing stream
Just out in God' nature
Where I can find serene
Somehow that water flowing
Gives me all kinds of advice
I relax, and go to God
Which makes it extra nice
A little self made thought
Taught me where to go
For it seems that is where
I can really touch my soul
God's given us so many places
That are quiet and serene
Sometimes being so much more
Than ever in our dreams
For me it has been rivers
Streams and waterfalls
Little creeks meandering
The ocean's might of all
I guess for each of us a choice
Of who, or what or when
Thanks be to God who blesses all
As He's blessed me my friend
