A Parent's Undying Love

There are parent’s that
Abandon and abuse their children,
But for the most part,
We who have tasted parenthood,
Love with an undying love.

No matter how far from us they seem to fly
As they spread their wings
And leave for worlds unknown,
We still love with an undying love.
Dare we sing a fair well song?
Dare we say a final good-bye?
Nay, not as long as there is air to breath.
