Get Rid Of The Advertisements

Honour Due

Are they passe, old-fashioned values,
honour, esteem, regard,
consideration, reverence;
for this modern world, too hard?

Respects contains these precepts;
bestow them where they're due
and, just as in the 'Golden Rule',
respect will come to you.

To cherish is to value,
to venerate and prize.
When folks get things too easily,
then problems may arise.

One thing I've gleaned from people in need
on which it is good to reflect,
is that one cannot honour other souls
without first acquiring self-respect.
