Shattered Pain

Photobucket

Outside in the snow, a saddened angel sits alone,
unaware of the coldness that surround her.
Her heart is broken and shattered like glass.
With her head bowed in her hands,
her tears flow freely upon the snow
as her broken heart remembers
a love that once filled her soul with so much joy,
only to have it taken away, leaving a dark void in its place.

Photobucket

She wonders what has become of her happiness?
how could it be dismissed so easily?.
The heart break that she feels takes her breath away,
leaving her feeling exhausted and breathless,
every breath being a fight for survival.

Photobucket

The love she gave so freely, and only to him,
she regrets today.
He spoke such beautiful words of love to her,
so soft, sensual, and passionate,
now in the past.
The only thing she ever wanted and needed,
was for a true love to last.

Photobucket

Illuminated sadness, her heart is silvery
and pure stirred orna mental
casual frames.
an exemption for display.
Evening falling.
Unkempt stars.
The skies pitiful tear
replaceable to newborn scars.
Elusive light.
Well- worn hair quiet
like her mask always alone,
always unloved.
Vivid grass of wine
kissed her lips
vaguely beautiful.
The innocence dies,
and the saddened angel cries.

Photobucket

All the nights, his loving touch,
she felt that she belonged.
Now every morning her merciful hearts beats alone.
Tomorrow's new promise for a new day,
she waits for her happiness to return.
But alas it has gone,
and she is alone once again,
with nothing but her dreams,
now all torn and broken.

Photobucket

Alone she sits, while snowflakes gently float around her,
and as she looks down, she sees her shadow
reflected upon the white snow.
It is just as dark, and distorted as her life,
for the grey shadows haunt and torment and torture,
leaving the angel feeling stricken and destroyed.
There is no sound of laughter or happiness in her life,
as emptiness builds a home within the angel,
where hollows have bred.

Photobucket

A deepening sea of nowhereness consumes
and eats away at her every lifeline.
Confusion of why love ended,
feeds like a savage inside her,
leaving nothing considered worthy.
She remains destined to walk through life alone.

Photobucket

Cloaked in the heavy blanket of sadness
her soul is torn asunder, she curses the God of Hell,
for he has pierced her soul,
lanced open her broken heart,
leaving her feeling such shattered pain,
while sending her into depths of dark despair.

Photobucket

All alone in the sea of darkness
she fights so hard to stay above it,
but the hands of darkness have a strong hold
slowly pulling her under,
as it feeds on her loneliness,
creating a void within her soul,
as she rides the waves of darkness's despair.

Photobucket

Her mind screams out silently....
'Why doesn't somone grab my hand,
pull me from darkness's grasp?'....
but no one hears her silent cries,
because no one knows she stands at the boundry,
the boundry between light and dark.

Photobucket

Her heart broken like glass
she feels such shattered pain,
as she fights to stay above the darkness,
but the darkness won't let go of its hold,
and slowly she begins to give into it.

Photobucket

All of the strength and all of the courage
that she once held in her heart
can't save her from the waters of despair,
as she slowly slips below
the world of conscientiousness
undetected by the occupants of the world.

Photobucket

With her head in her hands,
her tears fall freely.
She cannot fight anymore,
and the darkness takes her,
pulling her under its waters,
while her broken heart remembers,
why she feels such shattered pain.
