BORN AGAIN AMERICAN

And here are the lyrics I wrote:

My sons now serve our nation
in that land across the seas,
every day they’re facing death
to keep our country free.

But here at home it’s rough,
I just lost my job today,
don’t have a lot of money
but there’s bills that must be paid.

I wish someone would hear me,
but no one seems to care;
they out-source all our work,
and I don’t think that’s fair.

I’m a born again American
who’ll keep fighting every day,
and no matter what I’m told
I’ll bow my head and pray.
