Details, Details
Pay close attention as I relay to you this tale,
the enjoyment is in the details.
Without details it’s just a dog chasing its tail
or a train running off the rails.
This naturally beautiful young woman desired
to find a handsome young man.
She felt that since she was universally admired,
she wouldn’t need too much of a plan.
Good looking men should be easy to reel in,
there’s no way they can be affected.
Like test driving, just take each one for a spin,
until the exact match is selected.
Men are much hipper than they will let on,
they work on their looks as well.
It’s not often a Brad and Angelina come along.
Even with them only time will tell.
She is earnest in her mission, failure will not do,
she’ll be arm candy for a hunky man.
As she started to look around, the hunks were few
and they basked there, in high demand.
The ordinary Joes outnumbered studs by a mile,
availability was on the positive side.
Holding out for that perfect “Pepsodent” smile
may call for a much longer ride.
It’s okay to talk to a Joe, he may even have charm,
a witty man is a positive catch.
Can you picture your stunning self on his willing arm?
Could a Joe ever be a match?
I’ll be checking in with her to see how the hunt’s going,
and what test drive number she’s on.
Already bewilderment and frustration clearly showing,
why isn’t a Joe more like a Don?
