The Dragonfly

The Dragonfly
Truly a winged beauty
Catch one, I dare you to try
Lilting away ever so very pretty
Hush baby sleep, don't you weep or cry
Harmless creature, deny sewing wicked lips sweety
Myth of the devil's darning needles of fluorescent
A collectible no money could ever trade nor buy
Rainbow tinted wings soft and translucent
Look and you would definitely sigh
Art of gods truly magnificent
The Dragonfly

~Myths said that , Dragonflies were known as the 'devil's darning needles' because it was believed that they would sew the lips of wicked children together while they were sleeping. ..~
