Gentle Lady

A friendship that is built on a lie,

in time will surely die.

But a friendship where the truth is spoken,

will not easily be broken

SultryRose's Signatures

Fellow poets I’ve a problem
Could you help me with the same
Would you tell me if I asked you
How did you choose your name?

Cause I know a gentle woman
Who shines as bright as any sun
Still she calls herself Rainspirit
Where of where would that come from

She’s the main stay of our Starlite
Yes, the Captain of this ship
She watches it quite carefully
So we poets never slip

She checks out all the writing
Makes sure everyone play fair
My friend we are so lucky
That her touch is everywhere

As she watches ore our challenges
Making sure that they run right
She will answer any question
Morning, afternoon or night

Now I ask you fellow poets
Does that sound like rain to you
Ask me... I’d name her Inner Joy
Cause that ‘s what shines right through

I think she’s very special
She’s the hero of my song
May her days here at the Starlite
Brings her great joy all year long

Gentle lady, it’s your caring
That lets us share our hearts
I think I’m safe in saying
You’ve won everybody’s heart

So today I’ll like to thank you
For each single thing you do
How I hope the other poets
Will step up to thank you too.
