Where sweet dreams mostly dance
Beneath this safe haven they hover
In this slumber they take a chance
Bestowing upon night time madness
Intrusive thoughts begin to invade
Scattering peace left with sadness
This soft serenity slowly betrayed
Tranquillity conquered by nightmares
Assaulting treasured moments tossed
In visions of silence that's filling the air
Caged within this secluded place of loss
Restricted oxygen, time now suffocates
When nightmares invade your thoughts
Numb and paralyzed becoming too late
When intrusive thoughts make their plot
