Venture In With Caution

Would you understand if I allowed you into my mind
and you sampled the sludge awash at its center?
Would you have an inkling of what you would find?
Are you really up for that kind of adventure?

The workings are slight and complicated, side by side,
fresh ideas commingle with ones already trashed.
Utter shock value messages wrestle with my pride,
what to do barriers weakened before they are smashed.

Creative vapors permeate the cells of this vault,
adhering to any pulsating and imaginative nerve.
This strange brew mixture is entirely at fault
for birthing the word concoctions I serve.

The conceptual traffic flow often leads to a jam,
clogging the signal that bids my fingers to type.
Then a slippery opening line slips the dam,
opening the floodgates to a new piece of hype.

My complex mind is not a welcoming place to get lost
the many signs there would just turn you around.
High confusion or utter disgust could be your cost,
your own right mind never again to be found.
