THIS MAN NAMED CHAD
A giant of a man to take a stance
Walking across Canada
To give all women a fighting chance
At life!
With the money he's raised over the years
To help find a cure and silence our tears.
He's walked through sun and torrential rains
Nothing for himself he gains.
Except the simple pleasure knowing
With each step he’s taken,
Cure seeds he is sowing,
in this fight against Breast Cancer.
An Angel among men,
But he'd be the first to disagree
Telling us the real angels,
Are those battling cancer you see.
It takes a real hero to fight for what is right
And to walk for a cure, never giving up the fight.
He’s a mentor for many in this fight for a world cancer free,
Just one man among many now who walks for you and me.
I'm proud to walk alongside this man named Chad.
To experience his wit you cannot be sad.
He's given me the confidence to carry on my fight
And to believe the cure is within our sight.

(This year Chad will mark his 60th birhtday and this year in 6 cities he will walk 60km, 360km in all. This will mark 35 walks (2100 Km) and I dedicate this piece to him. Im proud to walk along side this man named Chad. Thankyou chad for all you do and continue to do for the cure. Hugs Landis)
