Brighten Up Your Corner
I see flowers blooming
I am assuming
it is spring.
I see the sky so blue
sunshine peeks through
happiness it will bring.
I hear birds singing
new buds clinging
bees will sting.
Children outside playing
they are saying
let's have a fling.
Trout are swiming
fishermen are winning
catching them on a string.
Praises we give
happy we live
life is everything.
Brighten up your corner
don't be a mourner
there's a song to sing.
