Duet

Dainty fingers and an impish smile,
how could I resist that combination?
Personal convictions and a sense of style,
allay my fears of a personal relation.
We both have hearts just full of song.
though mine may be a little off key
Blending our melody couldn’t be wrong,
we could call it fine tuning me.
The choral structure is arranged for two
and its lyrical essence just lingers.
I live to be the instrument of love for you,
play me softly with those dainty fingers.
