Temptations Song

There it is.

What to do?
Oh, dear. What to do?

I’m not lost,
Just confused…

If I sit and think about it for too long,
The opportunity may be long gone.

Temptation, oh temptation
You wear such a pleasant face
What the heck are you doing,
Dancing on my plate?

And why must I be tormented
With sweet enticement’s song?

Dare I take the chance?
Dare I leap without a second glance?
Do I dare to take one step backwards
Or dare I advance?

Oh, Lord, grant me wisdom.

Grant me the wisdom to know when to wait,
To know when to ponder,
And to know when to tempt fate,

And when the deed is done,
Lord, Grant me the judgement...

To know when to run…

Written and composed for:
Jade’s fill in the blank phrase…
I’m not lost, just _______
